Everything about La Vie En Rose is absolutely delightful!! The wonderful atmosphere, attentive service, delicious food, & tasty drinks. What a pleasant surprise to stumble onto this little gem off the busy street right into a french bistro with delicious food, wine & desserts. I felt like I stepped out of GTO & into Paris. The atmosphere & decor is a gauranteed hit & the food with fresh ingredients makes it one of my favorite places to dine. I get to escape momentarily to France as I sit in a French cafe eating bread & salad with great entres drinking vino.
The place is absolutely cute and delightful. The music background makes you feel relaxed and in France. The spots available at the terraza are cute to enjoy the view, but also the inside is very appealing. The Manu looks very vast, but I stopped by for dessert and a coffee.
This place is elegant and sophisticated with great food and great service! It's a fantastic fusion of French and Mexican cuisine. We were very pleased and will be back the next time we are in Guanajuato!
Great place to sit here at the balcony, drink the best coffee ( in Mexico? ) , eat a generous and delicious French breakfast. Love it here. French music played here. No Mexican twist to the food served here. Good cured ham. Charming place...
Beautiful restaurant! The server was friendly. The food takes a little while, so don't be in a hurry. It's all made from scratch, as was the frappe and flavored fruit water. Definitely recommend it, and we will be back for some pastries next time.
No exaggeration this was the best breakfast of my life. The chilaquiles were genuinely unbelievable, and the nutella croissant left me speechless. It was truly the ultimate pastry, perfectly flaky and sweet. Not to mention their fantastic chai latte, served in a MASSIVE cup. The food is also served with generous portion sizes. The atmosphere is a super relaxing cafe overlooking a plaza, bringing the authentic French bakery aesthetic to Guanajuato. The service is great too, highly attentive and our food coming out in about 15 minutes on a slow weekday morning. Having been to hundreds of restaurants across the world, I can still confidently say this place is in the top 3 for both food quality and overall experience.
